Mandarin/lemon/orange peel.

Squeeze in general direction of said kitten/s (avoid direct aim at eyes)

My cat has a path through my equipment to the area behind the monitors she naps in when I'm working on music.
Unfortunately it's close to the cat door and she often tracks in mud, I usually have a towel over the Beatstep Pro on the right as that's her path, straight from outside to behind my monitors
and the warm spot behind them. She's a stray from the neighborhood so no litter box fortunately = best pet ever! My guess is people who get sick from the parasites mentioned have litter boxes they're neglectful in changing. At least that's what my cat overlord told me to say. :twisted:

Speaking of monitors, I continue to be astonished at just how much a kitten sleeping in front of a speaker alters the sound. Even quite a small kitten.

yeah - they hate citrus. our cat begs for food then when i offer him a piece of orange peel he recoils in horror. try citronella. he took to sleeping in my clothing drawer and then shedding all over my clean clothes as a consequence. i dabbed citronella around the edges and he stopped straightaway

and a spray bottle of water or water pistol gets the message across too

our cat is 100% deaf, he comes in the room when i'm doing tunes and goes flat out to sleep on a shelf on the wall, no matter how much noise i'm making

i might be going out on a limb suggesting something so outlandish and far fetched as this;

close the door.

I have a door on my studio but that didn't stop my cat from scratching at the door meowing during sessions.

I bought a cat heating pad (like a heated bed) and put it on a table near the window upstairs. Now he can be warm while watch the birds. He doesn't bother me nearly as much anymore.

You know they despise you right?

They've had their brains scanned, and just like dogs they know exactly whose voice they're hearing when you call them, but they genuinely don't give a shit. :twisted:

ahaha yup.

But i am the supplier of food. The sole one. They HAVE to pretend to love me. And I am fine with living a lie - i can shape my fake reality into whatever I want, like people who drink a lot, or smoke weed, or breathe.
