Gerhard Behles and Robert Henke on Ableton

Post by stutter » Sat Jan 21, 2017 12:03 pm

In case you have not seen this, interesting thoughts and background on Ableton and music in this interview.

(Also regarding Monolake, VLSI is really a superb album. Different albums have different attachments because of what they accompany in your own life, when and how often you listen to them over the years, the newness of the sound or style to you or the depth they reveal - it's hard to compare them without your own filter. Momentum is the Monolake album that's most important (?) to me, but I foresee VLSI giving just as much, it excites me more. One of my favourite albums from last year and of recent years)

I liked some Monolake albums, but only very few motivate me to dance (Hong Kong comes to mind).
But they are usually somewhat interesting to listen to.

@ steko: what does that picture mean?

Drop it guys, this is not the place for it. I'd rather not lock the thread because the interview is something people will be interested. If you need to discuss it with each other, take it to PMs please.
