Haven't posted in years, still use Ableton daily, love it. But Jesus H Christ, downloading packs etc from the site onto the new computer takes
fucking ages- I have the suite, day 2 of downloading for hours. I have great connection too, plenty of bandwidth- arrrgh this suuuuuucks. Ableton, your servers suck ass.

it might not be their servers though. there are lots of other things that can slow downloads to a crawl, even though you have a fast internet connection, e.g. CDN/routing/DNS issues.
for example, i have a decent internet connection but lately i have been having intermittent issues with downloading stuff from Vimeo and Amazon servers. however, if i hotspot from my phone instead then the downloads are fine.

Almost done 
I've been able to simultaneously download from other sites without issue, very reasonable speeds. Only slow site is Ableton for some reason, Arturia was a bit sluggish but not this bad. On my last download now, thank god- 3 hours left.
