Hello, I've found what looks like a veritable treasure trove of Ableton goodies at https://www.audiobombs.com/?q=&devices. ... &price=All

My question is firstly is it legit? And secondly, if so, does anyone have an idea of which items are worth having and which are worth avoiding. I'm torn between not wanting to pass up a bargain, but equally, I don't want to fall into the trap I got into with Logic Pro and spend so much time chasing after free plugins, that I lost the impetus to actually make music!

The site is just presets and templates for instruments and software so nothing will work without the actual plugin or software it is designed for. It's just a user preset library basically.

What is worth it is highly a personal thing. Personally I have more presets and sounds than I could realistically even utilise in 2 lifetimes so for me, I find none of it useful for my needs but if you have nothing better to do and need some extra presets for your synths or devices then may as well download a bunch and see what is good.

I've downloaded a couple of the items and, in as much as they have a dependency on Ableton Live or M4L to operate, they are not independent apps, but they are certainly more than presets for exsisting plugin.

Hey, it's Lucien from Audiobombs. Totally legit! people upload their creations to the site, and we host them. I'd suggest sorting by popular and start there. Many of the things in the Ableton Racks section only require native Ableton devices.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks Lucien, that sounds like a plan!
