Ableton Beginner.

Post by Quackadilyblip » Thu Dec 13, 2018 4:15 am

Hey everyone, I'm very new to ableton and I need help on how to layer audio recordings. I have trouble trying to record drums and guitar piece individually. Any suggestion links for a beginner? That would be great. We are a 3 piece band that's trying to put our instruments through ableton and we're attempting to record each intruments individually then combine them together to make a complete song. Thanks in advance.

Basicly, you ask how Ableton works LOL......

Refer to the manual, and how to use arrangement view - that is what I think you can use to record a song as a band.

What audio interface do you use, what version of Ableton do you have?

Ableton is not learned in a week or so, you need to spend time with it, an put effort into it too. This is done by discovering the software and reading the manual.

Yeah, basically ^^

Apart from the manual and the good old fashioned approach of just getting into it and spending a few days/weeks/years learning:

There is no shortcut, beginners have to start at the beginning.
