That depends on whether you've bought it as a new (i.e. additional) license or as an upgrade.

An upgrade is put on top of your previous license, no selling the bottom from underneath.

Maybe it's different in your country, but I'm pretty sure that Push 2 doesn't include a license for Live 10, just the installer. You'd still need to pay for an upgrade from Live 9.7 to use Live 10 beyond the demo phase.

Well, when I browse Ableton's shop for Push logged in from Germany, I can choose an upgrade path from an existing version or "New License" (Intro, Standard, Suite). That's always bundled, only my existing Suite would be hardware only.
Music Store only offers Push with Intro, Thoman sells Intro bundled/Suite bundle/Standard bundle.

I was fully aware of that, just wanted to show how you typically don't buy the hardware without a license over here, and retailers don't sell upgrades.

Thanks. I should have put a disclaimer that maybe it was different in other parts of the world versus how it is here.

Yup this is how it seems to be but it still isn't everywhere in countries that do have it, it's usually only at specific stores and often includes a whole starter studio bundle. To the OP, register you new license, you should see on your account 2 separate licenses, you can then transfer your old license. This was my experience.
