first steps on Ableton

Post by LARSEN ARSEN » Fri Mar 08, 2019 1:51 pm

Hello,

I just inaugurated Ableton INTRO. Not so bad !

"I use a translator to make me understand you."

At the utilization level, problems arise.
Example, when I listen to a clip by clicking on the triangle that turns green, ok! but how to stop without going through the deactivation of the clip? Is there another way?
How to listen to a clip (or track) or program it without having my piece of music start? I have to disable each time?
Finally, after programming, I no longer have access to sounds from the bank.

Thank you all ...
Larsen...

Listening to a clip before playing it out of the main output is down to whether you have a sound card with mulitple outs, you should then be able to turn on the Cue Button and listen to the clip without it going to the speakers.

Thank you for your answer,

The meaning of my request was different.
Know exactly when I click on the triangle of an activated clip, how can I stop listening quickly?
I listen generally with the sound card of my PC, or, I use Asio4all.
I even have an external Tapco Link sound card with two inputs but no "cue" button!
