How can I deauthorise Ableton from a broken Mac?

Post by marmalade » Sat May 18, 2019 8:16 pm

My Mac has just died a terrible death and I will need to install Ableton 10 onto a new computer. How can I deauthorise if I can no longer start the Mac to uninstall Ableton?
I also have Ableton installed onto a MacBook so assume I am at the end of my licences.

De-authorizing a Live installation – Ableton.

Follow the "request more" link in the article, your account will be checked if there's unlocks available or you actually need to request more. In the latter case you'd write a little explainer. A dead machine is reasonable enough that they'll grant you some.
