2015 MBP - Catalina Update 10.15.5 - Trackpad issue

Post by xyz023 » Thu May 28, 2020 10:10 pm

Trackpad isn't changing parameters with touch and scroll action anymore, have to press the trackpad down to get parameters to manipulate. Like, when scrolling bpm or any device param.

Anyone come across this or have a preference suggestion?

Something relative to the symptom in Live is happening in other programs. I can't triple finger swipe to highlight text in other programs. Just came upon that this AM. I hooked up an Apple trackpad to the MBP and it's doing the same thing. Very strange...

I've been through as many system preferences for the trackpad as I can imagine...

Yep - that's it! Just found it. Somehow this behavior changed from a single point update to MacOS... System Preferences > Accessibility > Pointer Control > Trackpad Options > Enable Dragging > Select three finger drag.

Did the trick. Thank you!
