Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
When I try switching my driver from mme/directX to the asio driver it gives me this error,
Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
Sometimes wen I play with the sample rates it works for a little, but then it just goes right back and gives me the same error.
If anyone can help it would be great,
Thanks,

Some guess work:
You are on Windows (proberly 10), You use your onboard soundchip ( asio4all).
Why not start by giving some specs about your interface, pc etc. Maybe then we can help you......

Thank you for responding.
I'm not very knowledgeable in these areas, but I'll try.
Yes I am using windows 10. I'm not sure what you mean by that I use my onboard sound chip. I don't have an external audio interface, but the built in interface is called realtek high definition audio. What else do you want to know about my pc etc.?
Again thank you so much for taking time to respond.

Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
Take the 44.100 Hz or 48.000 Hz as samplerate at 24 bit if possible. That will do. Proberly at 512 samples latency.......

In the taskbar on the right side, find the ASIO logo, double click and it will open - adjust it there.....

Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
So I assume your talking about the windows taskbar and it's not there, but I assume your referring to the asio offline settings and I don't see where you can adjust the sample rate or bit rate, just the buffer size.
Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
Maybe one of the others who are familiar with the current version of ASIO4ALL can chime in, haven't seen it for 5 years or so.
I have good advice for you, buy an external audio interface like the Focusrite Scarlett Solo or 2i2 3rd gen. Your sound quality will improve drastically, and you make your music making live easier........ The Realtec chips aren't designed to run DAW's. ASIO4ALL is a trick to fool your system, but it is not ideal. I don't want you to spent money, I do not know if you can afford right now, but you can improve your rig tremendously by doing so.
A side note: don't go cheap on this one, but go Focusrite, Presonus, Steinberg etc - as these companies have good drivers, and will make a stable system.
Hopefully someone chimes in quickly to assist you with ASIO4ALL, and if you have more questions whatsoever beside ASIO4ALL, feel free to ask me!

Thank you so much for your help either way I really appreciate it
I'm not sure if it's really in my budget yet to get an interface, but still thank you so much!!!!

On a different "note" (get it, it's a pun) I have a old yamaha psr e223 that I tried to connect to my pc using a usb to midi cable. The issue I'm having is that I can send midi from ableton to the keyboard, but when I send from my keyboard the cable doesn't even register a midi signal if you would know what needs to be fixed it would be extremely helpful.
And again thanks so much for taking from your time to try to help me

Also I found that the problem with asio was that bluetooth was enabled on my pc so I just have to turn it off b4 I switch.
And for the millionth time and I genuinely mean it thank you so so much for all your help!!!!!!

Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
It could be a broken MIDI port ie.: A connection on the PCB that is loose, altough that would be strange, or something you have to adjust in the settings of the keyboard......prod. cl wrote: ↑Thu Oct 01, 2020 9:57 pmOn a different "note" (get it, it's a pun) I have a old yamaha psr e223 that I tried to connect to my pc using a usb to midi cable. Re: Live does not Support 8000 as a sample rate for the device "asio4all v2"
I could only find a German manual for your keyboard, and as far as I understand, it should work without altering settings on the keyboard....
You can only switch local on/off - but that does not alter the status of sending MIDI over it's port.
