To be trusted or scams

Post by MonoTeksist » Sun Mar 14, 2021 7:07 pm

https://realscpro.com/
https://www.fiverr.com/mixplays/promote ... _join=true

I have other people on SoundCloud commenting on my music and having a link to a similar service, promising a lot of airplay for a certain fee.
Does anyone have any experience with web sites like this?

Some helpful tips for the internet.... if it seems too good to be true, probably is.

https://realscpro.com/

Some basic detective skills on this one:

- Single page, no actual info on who/what is running this site
- Social media links do not work
- All comments on orders are the exact same few words
- It is literally a "buy fake clicks" for people who couldn't even be bothered to do the work to promote themselves

Also is against Soundcloud T&C so if you are detected for faking your engagements, you can have your service and all your data terminated:

That comes up if you google that site for hits, Again, something you should do as a basic investigation step.

Put your time in making better tracks people wanna hear and don't be a sucker for paying click factories to boost your numbers. No skill or interest in that at all.

I guess I should've done this one first eh?
https://www.youtube.com/results?search_ ... ting+scams

Tbh, I think where $$$ is involved, scammers and cheaters will always be present, doesn't matter what art form it is. Or activity come to think of it (hi there Mr. Lance Armstrong!).
The Realscpro gang is probably from Russia or the Ukraine, the English on their web site is terrible and consistent with email scam lingo.

In the end it all boils down to: who can you trust?
Thanks for the wake-up, I almost started trusting humans again.
