Submit direct! I work for a sync/production music company, and I deal with a lot of composer submissions. Some advice, in no real order:

- Lead with a link to your work. Emails that ask "how do I submit music" usually end up in the bin. You've got an email address, submit the music!

- No complicated websites. I've seen some very nice, flashy sites that end up obscuring the music. Music supervisors don't want to wade through pages or jump around long YouTube videos just to hear your work.

- On the same note, short, punchy demo reels either showcasing a wide variety of work or something you specialise in. Tbh, I tend to prefer composers who know exactly what they're good at and come in strong with an identity, a sound, a speciality. But if you're a good all-rounder, that's cool too!

- Check all your links are current and working! Many times I've had emails that direct me to a broken or private link. Share with friends first and make sure it's accessible.

- Be confident, and concise. No lengthy introduction trying to bait someone into a call before they can even hear music (happens more often than you think). A polite introduction, any relevant experience/credits/qualifications and a link that takes them straight to your work is all you need.

Hope this is helpful! And as I'm sure this will be the first question, the company I work for is www.alibimusic.com and yes, we have a contact form :)

Good luck!
