I've been having issues with the complex pro option; one of the issues corrected in Ableton 8.2.2b2.
My own results are that it worked for a LOT longer than it has before, easily over an hour without a hitch, whereas it would have crashed and been unable to launch due to a stuck process.
However, it did still crash, maybe not due to that issue, but I thought I'd let you know anyway. I have an open ticket and have emailed the report pack to bugs@ableton.com.
