Knobcloud.com - a marketplace for audio software

A friend and I have created knobcloud.com, a marketplace for used audio software licenses. It is an ebay-style platform, free to use.

This is what we offer:

- Selling and buying licenses free of charge
- An international audience
- Protection of buyer and seller via PayPal
- A dedicated search function
- The ability to bundle licenses while selling them individually
- Special features for license trading

To make license trading easier we have incorporated what we call “Transfer Information” on the platform. We have a dedicated database that lists which developers allow license transfers and under which conditions. Currently this database includes 80 developers and it will keep growing. As we are not affiliated with any developers the database must be regarded as unofficial. If you want to add or correct any information on the list please let us know here or under info@knobcloud.com. Based on this developers list, the required information for the transfer (such as buyers email, name, etc.) is auto-filled when creating an offer, as long as the developer is in the list. This and other dedicated features for license trading, such as dedicated fields for Buyer Activation Fees and special messages for when the buyer sends the requested information for the transfer are designed to give you the smoothest possible user experience.

We would like to add that you can continue selling your licenses parallel to knobcloud on the Ableton Forum, as long as you don´t accidentally sell your license twice, so be sure to delete any offers at knobcloud before accepting an offer on the Ableton forum.
