set testing...64bit

Post by JuanSOLO » Tue Jul 10, 2012 6:05 pm

15" MBP Late 2011
2.3 GHz
4 gig RAM
Sample Rate 44100
Buffer size 128

Track 1 - DrumRack, 8 cells (each with a Sampler, EQ8, Compressor, and a custom Filter Sweep rack, grouped to drumRack) grouped racks use returns routing.
Track 2 - Reaktor (Vectory), EQ8, Compressor, and a custom Filter Sweep rack, and ReDUX fade.
Track 3 - NI Massive, EQ8, Compressor, and a custom Filter Sweep rack, and ReDUX fade.
Track 4&5 - Live Input
Track 6 - External Instrument (SlimPhatty) Arpeggiator, EQ8, Compressor, and a custom Filter Sweep rack, and ReDUX fade.
Track 7 - Sampler, EQ8, Compressor, and a custom Filter Sweep rack, and ReDUX fade.
Track 8 - MIDI IN to a Mashup FX on a Return Track
6 midi Tracks (for Live input from Keyboard controller, routed to Tracks 1 2 3 6 7 and 8) Grouped
Return A - Guitar Rig Space Echo FX Rack
Return B - Reaktor Space Master reverb FX Rack
Return C - Valhalla Room reverb FX Rack
Return D - Clean Pass
Return E - Reaktor "the Finger", AutoFilter Rack
Master - Dynamic Comressor, Vinyl Distortion, Filter Sweep rack.

Live running smooth
With many things active CPU idles at 23-24% :)

I could not drag and drop Valhalla Room directly to a return track. I had to drop it in a blank track then move it.

Hi Juan,

Is the issue with valhalla room specific to that plugin or is this a general issue for you?.

Best,
Mads

Now I got my APC40 running through Bomes using my template.

THIS IS SWEET,

Live steady idling at 21% with everything I do, active/triggering, minus my M4L trickery of course, nevertheless I am stoked!

Shouldn't need Bomes after the 8.4b2 update is pushed through. Had my APC40 working this afternoon when things auto-updated :)

I was not referring to workarounds concerning the 64bit beta.
I NEED Bomes for what I do with my APC40.

Hi,

Since the problem with the valhalla effect seems solved I will lock this thread to keep overview of open Beta bugs.

Please dont hesitate to add a new thread should you narrow the problem down and when you have more info on this issue.

Mads
