"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.Please see the application event log or use the command line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail."
Happens every time , whether I try to Open or Run as administrator.
Where would I find event log ?
sxstrace.exe flashes black dos page for 1/2 second then vanishes.
Anything to do with NOT having internet ?
Live 8.3.3 installed with content, as instructed ( authorised and functioning fine )
Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit OS
Intel core2Quad Q6600 @ 2.4 Ghz 3 Gb Ram Asus PK7 delux MB
RME Digiface, latest 32/64 bit drivers.
Side-by-side configuration is incorrect....

Hi Galactic.
We have located this problem, and as mentioned in another thread its because the extensions are missing in the installer package. resolved by downloading the runtime library manually. I am closing this thread since it is a know issue and fixed in the forthcoming betas.
