Observed Behavior:

Waves 9 will not appear under OS X.
The VST version of the waveshell is VST3 which live does not support.
Live will not successfully scan the AU bundle fail safe.

Workaround:

None

Not needed, the problem is easily reproduced.

We are working with waves to present a solution for OS X users.

Supported Hosts and Formats - Mac
Version 9 supports all audio hosts below in 32-bit, and 64-bit where available.
Sidechain is supported on Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Digital Performer, Nuendo, Cubase and Studio One only.
