Downloaded the beta update 8.4 today (July 25th, 2012) - and SUCH lagggg.
Constant mid-second freeze on screen & audio.
Other than that, haven't had a problem with anything else.

Re: Madd Laggg
Hi Clade,
We would need a bit more info to find out whats happening on your system.
- Which operating system?
- Is your memory at its limit. If you are OSX user, please see in the activity monitor if you have "reserved memory". OSX will at times reserve memory for applications started and closed. But if your system is fresh booted the problem must reside somewhere else.
- Same goes for CPU, is it within limits?.
- Did the latency for your audio driver change?, is the problem still there when increasing it?.
Best,
Mads

Re: Madd Laggg
Hey there,
I'm using a Mac OS X (3.4 GHz, i7), 16GB 1333 MHz DDR3
I looked in activity monitor like you had suggested and my peak was 652KB/sec at its highest recorded rate of disk activity. I couldn't locate the section labeled "reserved memory". I'm playing a 8 bar loop at the moment and every probably 2-3 bars it'll have a short second skip. Can't be my cpu as it can easily handle a 1drum-rack and 2 audio tracks playing. Any suggestions from here??
Thanks guys,
- Clade

Re: Madd Laggg
Ah!! I think i may have found the issue. I went back and went over everything that could have been wrong. The latency was WAY back for recording vocals, and even my buffer size was at like 0.. lol. Got it fixed! I'll keep you guys updated if anything else seems to go wrong. Thanks again!
