9.0.2 - Push Drum Racks Quantize Problem

Post by iloyd2 » Mon Apr 01, 2013 12:15 pm

Rarely when working on a drum rack, holding a drum pad + pressing quantize on Push doesn't only effect the selected drum pad midi. It quantizes all the midi in the clip.

djcyph from this forum just told me that you have to press the Quantize Button first and then press the pad to quantize it seperately.

It would fantastic if holding the delete button, then pressing the pad worked in the same fashion.

When you want to quantize a specific drum cell you hold quantize and then press the pad. It would be awesome to hold delete and then press a pad to delete the selected cells midi data.

It does not do that? I never tried it here but I thought it would obviously be like that. Should ask support about that. It should work like you said.

It is omitted from the manual and when executed on PUSH it does not perform said function. I don't think support is going to do much. Hopefully it is something added in the future ... But if others know this not to be the case please chime in. Thanks!
