Unintended snapping when grid is off

Post by ttilberg » Thu May 30, 2013 10:11 pm

In general the way the new snap (and lack of snap) feature works is pretty cool, however I'm experiencing a situation where when I turn the grid off, it still tries snapping to some sort of resolution.

To reproduce:

New set (default clip settings make my midi clips 1/16 grid size when creating new clip in session)
Create 1 bar midi clip
Double click a chunk of the grid to create a 1/16th note
Ctrl 4 to turn grid off
Begin stretching the note's beginning or end.
Snapless sliding works for about a beats worth, but then begins snapping to subdivisions again.
