List of files missing from Live 9.0.5x beta please?

Post by re8 » Tue Jun 04, 2013 5:00 pm

Me: "'New in 9.als' is missing from the 9.0.5b1."
Ableton Support: "Indeed the "New in Live 9" set is not included in the most recent beta versions for Live 9,... you can always find this set in the most recent release version of Live 9, which is Live 9.0.4"
3 days later, no mention of files re-added.

So, what other files have you noticed missing from 9.0.5beta that are in 9.0.4 please?

Yes please; I'm a bit sketched out installing 8 over 9beta. Not sure if it is just the .als, or if I'm missing dependencies.

okay... if you're dead set on it... i can do that for you... you'll have to PM your dropbox info. BUT... all i would be doing is pulling the set from a previous version.

having said that... what is causing you to gravitate toward the beta? if you roll with the current official release vs. the beta you'll have everything (as Ableton support pointed out)... AND... there will be a new beta soon, i'd wager, which will probably feature the return of the default set anyway. they probably didn't include it because a user that is on the most recent beta isn't really someone outside "the know" of what is new in Live 9. at this point what's new equates to bug fixes.
