Recommend bags for Push&Laptop

Post by #1thelark » Sat Mar 30, 2013 2:07 pm

Push is quite big, so I need a proper bag/sleeve for taking it with me.
What do you recommend for Push and 17inch laptop?
Is there an "official" bag or something?

Cheers!

Not 100% but pretty sure the one they had in the Preview Event vid was a Mono Flyby. I have one and its massive. You could fit the 17" in the back, and the Push in the front.

Push fits in the Akai APC40 bag with a little room to spare.

Hmmm, quite pricey. I guess the cover should also be necessary to travel safely with push.
That adds up :?

Ableton says their new bag fits push and 15inch, btw...

Anything cheaper, maybe some bag designed for something else in good quality?

Thanks. Its probably good quality, still 280 bucks is way too much money for my taste...

Anything cheaper suited for 17 inch laptop and push?

i have a big namba studio backpack and it fits the push very very well. i can also fit a 17" laptop into the main compartment along with the push. that still leaves the front pocket completely empty to use for cables / audio interface/ headphones etc...

in general, i would recommend the namba bag because it has a lot of padding and shape built in which seems to protect my gear better than a lot of other bags i have used.

Don't know if it will fit a Push, but I use a Kelty Redwing backpack. It's plenty big enough for my MacBook, MOTU Traveler, cables, and mics with room to spare.

I was looking at this one: http://www.fusionbagsusa.com/index.php? ... s_id=16482

A little expensive, but very nice.

Enjoy,

Fits snugly in my Swiss Army backpack with a 13 inch Macbook. A bit too snug but it'll work for now. The back is padded but something with more padding would be good.

Just an FYI.... I posted about this backpack not too long ago, they are on sale (I just ordered one). Still expensive, but way cheaper than what they wanted initially:

Take care,

"It's time for Fusion/It's more than just a bag" I feel bad for that rapper that already sold his soul to advertising backpacks. That thing is damn expensive and also funny looking.

I just happen to have a HDE 17" Laptop Sleeve hanging around.

It fits Push like it was made for it. It's snug and padded pretty well. (I still wouldn't drop it though)
