Push Cover / Stand
Re: Push Cover / Stand
There's some beautiful wood working in this thread.
I wound up buying the Allsop stand (mentioned a few pages back) and really like it - especially for $28.50!

It is sturdy steel and adjustable and fits the Push like it was made for it, even with the deck saver on.

Re: Push Cover / Stand
A few months ago I bought Pyle-Pro PLPTS2 laptop stand from Amazon to hold my Push Controller. It was ok but the tray that it sat on was just a thin flimsy piece of plastic. The picture on Amazon looked much thicker and better quality but what I got was crap. The edges were jagged and it flexed too much when you put pressure on it.
The other thing that I hated about the tray is that if it was at any sort of angle Push would start to slide off it.
I decided to create my own replacement tray for the Pyle stand using the Red Oak board and trim pieces. I had all the pieces cut to size to at Lowes so all I had to do was do some drill the holes for the screws, glue and sand it down. I think it came out pretty good and I may put a stain finish on it. Here's the result:

The Gilbrator Electronic Drum Mount is really great for full height stage use:

Some of those are snazzy. I can't justify 110+shipping for the Gibraltar. For someone who performs, I'm sure it's a good investment.

That is pretty similar to the one that appearead on the first photos form Push, it was about time someone took advantage of that design.
Re: Push Cover / Stand
Looks nice. However I think the reason why ableton never shipped they're stand/cover is because they found in broke the slot on the unit from excessive use. Also $75 is a lot of money for what it is.

That's a 15 € Millennium stand from Thomann. I couldn't be more happy.

I like the copper ones a lot. I do prefer a steeper angle though - nearer to 40 - 45 degrees.
Nice work regardless.
