dest4b, that looks PHENOMENAL. Well done! What kind of wood is that?

You've just inspired me... once I get back to my workshop at home, I'm totally building something like this.

Yeah, dest4b, that is a really nice bit of kit. I'm not a carpenter, but my brother is :-) If you have any details about how you built it, we would certainly welcome them. I could pass them along to my brother and we could make it a project!

Really really nice job.

I think this may get hundreds of customers if price is around 70$, I would love one with white wood-;)
There is a market no one is able to take, crazy somehow...

I'm about to build one that I can put on my lap as a comfy cushion and a bit incline.

Really like the wooden stand, although personally I prefer to sit as far away from the desk as possible.

"No, Push."

:D

I just like to sit on a lazy couch or in the backyard, and at the moment I'm handling this thing carefully like it's a little baby. But I prefer to use it like a tool.

Here we go, please don't laugh. I never produce anything with my hands.

Created a cowleather padded stand that can be inclined to about 80 degrees. It's mostly wood with (real) leather and anti-slipping material, underneath is furniture foam. The top and bottom are connected with hinges. It fits really tight, but i don't want the thing to fall out of course.

I created this, because I can have more 'couchtime' with my girlfriend, and create facemelting beats at the same time :P Also a nice way to keep the Push unscratched and as far away from the PC as possible.

Cost:
wood mdf: EUR 5
padding: EUR 7
leather: EUR 20
anti slip: EUR 2
hinges: EUR 15
nails / tacks: EUR 10
push: EUR 425

Nice if you're lounging, I guess there's no worries with this setup..
I couldn't help but notice your display readout. Mine doesn't show this. What have you done?

If you just plug the adapter in (without the usb), you will get a laser show & special effects. Well worth the try 8)
