- almost very monitor has different calibration and variations in display of colour, so it's probably very difficult to portray what you are seeing on your Push to anyone else unless they are in the same room with you. Having said that, your example seems to be quite extreme, even accounting for a bit of a boost in saturation. I haven't picked up my Push yet, so can't say what mine will be like, not sure if colour variation will annoy me much or not... :|

Is this extreme case a one off?
Also to the guys who have a slight variation in hue, ask yourself this.

1. Does it tint your sound?
2. Does it detract from physically playing the controller? i.e do you hit the wrong notes/clips because of..
3. Am I worried about being bullied in the playground by other MIDI controllers?
4. Will the LED variations get worse over time to the point where I can answer yes to the above 3 questions?

If the answer is yes to any of these then I'd ask for my money back.
1. Only if I hold it sideways.
2. See #1
3. My APC 40 sitting next to it fell on the floor laughing at it.
4. Not sure yet.

And for $600.00 it should. I'd be willing to pay more so all the colors are uniform, only time will tell if they can come up with a work-a-round.

Apparently Ableton is waiting for me to come up with a M4L patch for it ......

the only problem is I'm currently saving my money for M4L, I should be able to afford it after I book a gig...... but I'd need M4L to do the gig......

....Can anyone get a Max Patch to Max Patch my Max Patch so My Max Patch will Max Patch my Max Patch?.......

For whatever it is worth I sent a video of my Push with all the multi-colored whites to the dealer where I purchased mine and they are forwarding it on to Ableton. I still have 50 days to decide if I want to return it for a full refund, so for now I'm playing and having fun with my Rainbow Push.

I'm a bit mad too because I upgraded to Live 9 for the Push, but now that I've returned it I have no need for anything in Live 9 - there's nothing new that I need that Live 8 doesn't have...

If the pads on push were a graphic display for accurate colour rendition of images, I would be annoyed, but the prime function of Push is making music. I understand the clip colour concern in session mode, but I cannot help but feel cosmetic annoyances are being blown out of proportion in some users minds. I may change my mind if my Push is too multi-hued when I get it... We will see (literally) at the moment I'll just be happy if the date they are meant to come in doesn't get pushed back yet again!
:D

I was playing it last night in chromatic mode,

my mom asked me what the difference was in the blue, pink, and white pads,

I tried to explain that they're suppose to be white like the pad next to it.

So was a bit confused and but so it goes

I had to post this cause this is a great example
