User colors on your Push!!!
Re: User colors on your Push!!!
Thanks man, I'll be giving this a shot later. The fact that this stuff is something we can customize is great.

Hi, could you please upload the skindfault-file again? It seems to be down.StarcAt wrote:Fixed link to scheme http://www.filedropper.com/skindefault
Tried to recreate it, but somethings wrong.

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
Any feedback?bootykowski wrote: Just one thing. i try to change the color in recording mode in the notes view back to red like in the default skin, because sometimes i miss, that it´s recording.
I can´t find it in the script. Was searching for "record". Changed everything for a test, but nothing happened...
Can you give me a hint please?
I am in a similar situation my notes don't turn red while recording.
Can't remember if that was happening ever with my unit though.
Re: User colors on your Push!!!
go check the latest github decompiled scripts for 9.0.4, its got the recording feedback in it.

Can't get it working. I save it as .py in the right folder, but when i start ableton push simply says "start ableton to play" and won't booth correctly. Anyone know what may be causing this?
edit: figured it out. Forgot to use plain text, lol

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
This does not turn purple buttons into white buttons does it?
Re: User colors on your Push!!!
I'm hoping that Ableton incorporates this in the software as they have for Lives interface colors.

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
hi all,
i see that you are speaking color here, and i have one question:
On Ableton, and in cession mode on my push, i can only change the color of the first pad, with my mouse, in real time.
but, when i change color of other pads, i need to pus the pad one time, fir they change color.
they can't change in real time, i need to push them...you know why?

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS!
works well for me using RED and OCEAN, both on shade(2), in note mode
even if no pads were pink i would still use this as these pads are much too bright for me, even without the power supply

Re: User colors on your Push!!!
It would be nice if there were a downloadable list of user contributions that they were willing to share. I would like to try it but honestly am not comfortable with editing scripts and such. I don't think I'm alone here and am sure others feel the same. Is that even possible?

Long out of date... would love to try the script cause I like the color scheme you did... but most important is to have an example that works for 9.0.4
