Almost right. What you need to do is press and hold the 'select' button (bottom right) then push the Selection Control button underneath the track that contains the group.

I've tried that but no go!
Do I need to be in a certain mode? Volume or track?
Also, I've only tried this on a drum rack group....
Haven't made a group myself ad expanse it. Maybe it won't work with drum racks?

Sorry I totally got the wrong end of the stick with your question. I thought you meant how to expand several tracks that have been Grouped together.

Are you asking how to dig into a grouped instrument in Device mode? For that you just need to select the track (using whatever method you like), go to Device mode and you can press the in/out buttons to access further parameters.

That's in section 27.6 of the manual. Page. 505

Hey thanks for the replies!
Ok so after what you wrote I went and did some tests.
I grouped some instrument tracks together and select + track Control does expand and compress groups.
Great!
BUT what I'm trying to achieve is mixer control over drum racks.
Because when you expand a drum rack (like a grouped set of tracks) you get a mixer window.
Is there a way to control the volume so i can mix my drum levels within drum racks?
I don't want to use the device mode and change the sample settings (sample gain).
I want to mix my drums from volume mode like any track.
How can I do this?

Cheers!
