PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
I don't think you'll see them in store inventories for a year. This smells like a money issue to me.

Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
so the inability to deliver is an intentional Ableton strategy designed to boost sales? who does that? and why?sowhoso wrote:cnpearce wrote:I don't think you'll see them in store inventories for a year. This smells like a money issue to me.

Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
Cancelled my order.
I'm going DIY. 32 LED arcade buttons. Maybe a joystick or faders for modulation. Whateves.
Fuck a bunch of 12,000-48,000 weeks.
Takes less than a month to rebuild a car.
Suck my balls.

Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
Retailers receive their shipments from each batch at the same time as direct orders - there is no reason on the distribution end why ordering from a retailer will cause any difference in delivery estimates. Like with Ableton, all retailers distribute Push units according to their backorder queues - this is where you need to get in touch with retailers directly, as we don't have any influence on this.Tauciu5 wrote:Believe me retailers will get their shipments later than ableton, and you will most likely must've to wait longer because of orders exceeding production limits so im definetely advise you to order push DIRECTLY FROM ABLETON!
Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
Ordered from Guitar Center on 5/28. Original ship date was 6/21 then 7/5 now 7/12. After 3 date changes I emailed Guitar Center. This is what they said:
"Thank you for your recent inquiry.
Very sorry for the delays with this item.It does say here that we have a pretty significant amount coming in on 7/12/13. Unfortunately on some occasions the back order dates are subject to change. It looks like we also some coming in on July 18th 2013,so your order should be full filled this month.Again sorry for the delays with this item.We appreciate you choosing GuitarCenter.com. If you should have any questions, concerns or you're not 100% satisfied, please feel free to reach out to your Guitar Center sales representative or your preferred Guitar Center retail location."
The waiting is the hardest part.

Fuck Push.
Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
lol as i thought.. just cancel the order of the push, like i did 2 weeks ago. it is not worth the wait and the build up of stress. i will (maybe) buy it when i actually / physically see it in a store. i just dont care for this sort of business method of buying a product, only to get it in your hands half a year later. maybe if more people do this, companies will actually learn (though i doubt it)
Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
Spoke with Sweetwater today. They said they are expecting their deliveries today, but it has not as of yet been fully confirmed. I've been through this many times already and still don't know for sure what the hell is going on. I'm hoping that taking ownership of one of these units my excitement is refueled for what I have lost over this ridiculous period of time. One thing for sure, this is one of the most disappointing experiences I've had in purchasing equipment over the past 25 years. We shall see…
Mac (Retina 5K, 27-inch,) Catalina
3.6 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9, 64 GB
Apollo/x6, PUSH 2

Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
Regarding the delivery, the shipment was slightly delayed due to the July 4th celebrations in the US, but your unit should leave the warehouse by the end of this week with confirmation via email.
Re: PUSH SHIPS IN?!?!
the next factory shipment will have store shelves overflowing with boxes of Push due to cancelled orders
i'll have one of those, thank you very much
