Is it possible to save push scales in an ableton project?
Is it possible to save push scales in an ableton project?
I use push a lot in live settings, and i spend a lot of time changing scales and pressing chromatic every time. I wondered if someone know a way to save the scales in the project you are working on?

It would be nicer still to automate scale changes and trigger those mid-song through a follow action.
For now, we're only dreaming.

I’m not sure how to automatically recall scale settings upon loading a set, but you can get pretty close with the Push actions available in ClyphX. After choosing your scale settings, you can simply create an X-Clip that contains the settings you’re using (or multiple X-Clips with different settings if the set warrants it). Upon re-loading the set, you’d just trigger the X-Clip to recall the settings. And, again, you can have multiple X-Clips with different scale settings that can be triggered at any time throughout the set either manually or via follow actions. Alternatively, you could use X-Cues so that scale settings change at pre-determined parts of the set.

on a side note, I know this is a big feature request for abeleton to do this native and when the clip is created.

^^ I'm glad to hear that you find ClyphX useful.
FWIW, I posted a new version of ClyphX (v2.2.3) today that adds an action that simplifies this process. You can simply create and trigger an X-Clip named [] PUSH SCL to capture all of Push's current scale settings.
On a somewhat unrelated note, I added another action that allows you to temporarily show custom messages in Push's display (like [] PUSH MSG MY CUSTOM MESSAGE HERE). This is extremely handy for live performance work.
