If only a few more of the whites were shaded as the rest, you would have a perfect pink/blue set up… That wouldn't be so bad.
I'm thinking somewhere along this road Ableton will help out.

Sixbysix, how long do you own the Push? Your colors deviate quite dramatically. Mine are less worse, but I also have the idea that they were more pink when I plugged it in for the first time. There's also a chance that I got used to it.

I'll try to post a picture soon.

Since two days. What I really want is a commitment from Ableton that they’ll fix this ASAP for early adopters. Otherwhise it’ll have to go back until they ship them without colors all over the place. :(

Here's mine, taken with an iphone in a well lit room. As you can see, they look pink. They look a lot whiter with the naked eye. Also the color difference is not so very bad. So, I am not 100% happy with it, but in this condition I am willing to accept it. Sixbysix, I can totally understand your disappointment. In your case, I think I would return it.

Put push in drum rack mode, step sequence two notes, one on a pad that is pink and one on a pad that is white. Adjust the velocity by holding the pad down and turning the velocity knob, try to match the velocity through the push controller only without looking on screen. Since the pads are not uniform in color you will be unable to match velocity. This is a functionality issue so abletons claim the usability is unaffected is wrong the colors do affect performance.

Even if you do this by looking at the screen, push does not auto update the screen to show the note being adjusted so you can't work around it by looking on screen, especially on longer loops.

So has anyone actually bothered returning theirs for a replacement? I'm contemplating it, but at this point am pretty confident that any replacements would look pretty much the same.

from the way it looks it doesnt seem like getting a replacement will do any good. especially being that there still hard to get.
im not even sure if i wanna keep my preorder. im disappointed. this thing is all about the pads. the leds should be perfect. seeing it in videos look awful and confusing.
