If I'm in note mode of a drum track sequence, is there a way to select a section of the loop without changing the measurement length of that loop? In other words.... If I have a 4 bar loop sequenced, and want to select the first 2 bars while the sequence is currently playing in the 3rd bar, when I press the correlating pads (bottom right 16 area) it will automatically change that clips loop length to whatever pad I select. . . INSTEAD, I would like to be able to select that section of the clip to edit in realtime, as the loop is playing.
Hope that make sense?
Thanks in advance.

I don't think this is possible at the moment. At least it doesn't work with Select or Shift + hit pattern. A workaround is:
1. sequence you 4 bar loop
2. hit duplicate or new
3. switch to session mode and select the clip which is not playing by hitting Select + clip
4. switch back to note mode and edit your clip (use Select + pad to silently select the pad you want to edit the sequence of)
