Non Ableton VST in PUSH

Post by madcalm » Fri Oct 11, 2013 7:55 am

Dear Ableton,

please make it possible to work in push(just like with the abletons instruments, to choose the presets ans so on),
there are some VST Bridges on sale in net, but if it will be integrated in Live 9- Ableton becomes more fans and pushs sales, more than ever
and maybe a cupple of midi maps in User mode as menu to choose(NI Maschine Style?!), and with all the colours responses?!
Vielen Dank und MfG!

Hi,

yes you can browse VST-Presets from the Push hardware like with native Ableton instruments.

But you have to do it manualy.

1. you have to rack up your VST - Instrument -> Instrument Rack
2. Save your racked VST in the USER Library -> ex. under Presets or any folder you whant but you have to save them in the USER Library.
3. Select another preset, save the instrument -> you have to save every preset as new instrument, if you want to browse from the hardware, by hand.

I hope you get the idea.

User Mode isn´t officially supported at the moment.
But there is a realy good 3rd party tool (check nativeKontrol PXT Series)
where you have the Push features ready set up for every other midi compatible Software.

Have Fun!
