Yeah no dice. Have asked them but their response was basically "thanks and good luck.".

Apparently they are working on a heap of new patches and projects which they say will make the presets hard to maintain... Not sure if that means they are going to offer some future upgrades or expansions but I am sure I will be up for the challenge.

Trilian will just have to wait a while I think.

I've done quite a bit of conversion of the Trillian patches although not as nicely as how you've done the Omnisphere ones.

I'll take a look at redoing them and uploading for everyone.

The one thing that I struggle with is deciding which controllers to map in which bank.

I've also done the whole impOSCar2 library with just one bank of the controllers that I find most useful if anyone is interested in this.

Bummer Jester, but I guess it didn't hurt to ask.

Maybe if enough of us ask Spectrasonics they will reconsider giving Jester an NFR copy. Anyone know Eric's email?

It took me weeks to get the mappings correct for Omnisphere. I usually have about 20 common controls for any production mapped but I wanted something pretty extensive if I was going to do 17,000 presets.

I discovered 2 times throughout the wrapping process and testing that I missed useful controls so had to redo.

I found the hardest thing making logical groups of 8 to fit Push. If you were able to make blank slots to keep nice grouped banks that would be great.

Feel free to use my template as a guide. The document on the first page also shows the complete controller mappings and banks which is handy to print out for reference until you get an idea of the banks.

I requested allowing blank slots with Ableton. You should let them know as well. It would be good for them to implement this.

Yep, done that. Posted on the beta forum also. Would also be good if in VSTs the config section had divider bars that showed where each group of 8 was too.

And to be able to name those groups and rename dials.

Thie presets work great .... But it is quite slow on my system.

What might be determining speed? I am on a MBP, with maybe lowish 4GB. Or is it related to push itself and everybody will have issues with these massive preset banks?

Runs fine for me. I also have the ones for the. Native instruments and its all pretty quick. Is a small delay when first opening the browser but apart from that all pretty good.

push can be a little slow, but if your user account is installed on an ssd you get a significant boost. note, that just putting your ableton library on the ssd is not enough.

Another Question:
how can multis be handled ?
i mean if you load one of the patche, you get control over the first slot of 8.
is there anyway getting live to select the second or third row, when i select
the assigend channel.

basically you have a group containing 8 midi tracks using ext. instr. to
fire midi into the 8 A-H channels of Omnisphere. It was already with the APC
anoying that choosing the channel does nit choose the right part of the multi
in Live. Maybe its a Spectrasonics-Problem.

How do you handle it ? Using instead 8 instances of omnisphere ? 8O

EDIT: Just saw you talked about multis already. I go to Spectrasonics ask them.
I didnt digg into the Stack-things possible until now, but its annyoing cannot
select the parts via midi. A touch screen would do it maybe, but there should be
a better way to achieve that.

I am yet to look into the possibility to browse Multis. There is a bit of an issue with that...

You can load a multi, no problem. I can even setup a multi-channel MIDI and Audio Rack which can have all Omni layers on separate channels.

The issue is that even if you group all this together and save it as a "clip" the Push doesn't allow you to browse and load clips which is what is currently stopping me from persuing that option. I also wanted to do the same thing for NI Battery for routing different drum types.

Happy to look into ideas if anyone has any
