The colour scheme works, but i can't see any steps in note sequencer mode. Anyone else? Using Stray's latest 1.1.1 Push script with fine parameter dialing etc.
EDIT: also in Drum seq mode - the steps can be seen as beige/white colours, but you can't see the colour increase/decrease with intensity as the velocity goes up/down.
EDIT 2: I did not set Seapush theme to "TRUE" in the UserSettings file. In "false" mode, the Seapush scheme works only partially as stated above. So, it works fine now once set to "True". Good to be back to ye ol SeaPush! And I haven't tried Stray's Push Script til now - why Ableton haven't added fine parameter tuning, arrangement recording and velocity sensitive note seq steps by input is beyond me. Cheers Triant and Stray!

I'm going to need a road map to do all of the above. I just want the Seapush color scheme. Is this not doable yet?

I'd say based on Ted's post above, it's already DIDable.Tarekith wrote:Yes it's totally doable.

Interesting! I just had a quick look into the scripts and so far it doesn't make a lot of sense that it ceased to work. I'm gonna investigate...tedlogan wrote:Also, Because789's PushClipColourPicker has also ceased to work.
Btw, I just discovered that the good Julien uploaded the 9.1 remote scripts already a week ago: https://github.com/gluon/AbletonLive9_RemoteScripts

Yes you can use just the SeaPush colour scheme if you so choose.lyovino wrote:I'm going to need a road map to do all of the above. I just want the Seapush color scheme. Is this not doable yet?
Download the Push scripts from here: http://beatwise.proboards.com/thread/1281 First post.
Refer to the included readme. Basically you drag all the .py files into the correct folder, and then you can set the usersettings.py file to choose which mods you want enabled.
For example, Seapush skin = "False" needs to be changed to "True"
I recommend also using the shift+record for arrangement recording, double-tap to reset parameters, and fine parameter tuning though.
All the details are in the readme. Very easy, works great.
PS - Because789 - your PushColorPicker still works fine...I didn't realise that I'd changed the location of it since saving my default template new set.

Seapush is included.
I just used that one, since it seems to already have been proven to work.

Works beautifully! Seapush is back and Stray's additional functionality is spot on. Do make sure to check pushes user button/velocity settings. It zeroed mine out, just turn them up again and go.

So. Is there a way to make a max device which lets one 'try out' different colored layouts in previews, and then when they find something they like, it can create a txt file which can automatically be placed into the directory as the new color settings?

Sorry, don't have answer for that.

Re: Live 9.1 Decompiled DefaultSkin.py Available
Something like this might be possible. I've tried to look inside the "Ableton_Push_LED_Calibration_Tool" to see how it works, but I can't enter edit mode as the patch is a collective. I don't even know it it's possible to edit those files. But this surely is something to look at.yur2die4 wrote:So. Re: Live 9.1 Decompiled DefaultSkin.py Available
I guess it's possible somehow, but it seems to me it would be a pain in the ass to build such a device because of the various matrix modes and the different states the pads can be in.yur2die4 wrote:So. But I quickly put together a stupid simple patch which might be helpful if you want to create your own skin:
http://www.file-upload.net/download-835 ... .amxd.html
So far the device has not a lot to offer, it just lets you choose a color and then you can draw on the button matrix by pressing pads (works only in note mode and when the device is selected). There's no export option, but at least you can check color combinations before editing the SkinDefault.py script.
I wont put a lot of effort into this device, but if people think this is useful, I'm willing to polish it.
