Hi there,
I'm wondering what's the diffenece between Push's swing function and Ableton's groove templates. Is there any relation between Push's swing and the current selected groove template?
Thanks for your help!

Re: Push Swing vs. Ableton Grooves
The swing feature affects the MIDI data sent to Abletin as you play (IE, you cannot apply the swing once you have recorded, only when you are recording). It is locked in sync.
The grooves can be applied to material "on the fly" once recorded and you can choose to interchange grooves etc.
Make sense?

Well, the other main difference is also that you can only control Swing from Push...Grooves and any of their parameters are unfortunately of limits for any controllerjestermgee wrote:The swing feature affects the MIDI data sent to Abletin as you play (IE, you cannot apply the swing once you have recorded, only when you are recording). I am not sure that you can t apply swing after recording. I thought it affects the last recording you did.
Can somebody confirm this? I will try it out later.

Giving it some swing then pushing quantize will swing some notes off grid.
