Ableton and Push not in sync or sending MIDI too early?

I got my Push today, and have hooked it up to my Machinedrum, mapped out all the drum tracks. But when I'm using the drum sequencer in Push, the drum hits will trigger almost half a second before the actual step sequencer trig. Which is completely weird. I always though MIDI-timing issues came down to MIDI being delayed, but now it seems like it is sending the MIDI notes a bit too early. I'm using a Roland UM-550 MIDI device, and everything should be hooked up correctly.

Have anyone else had this problem and know what might be causing it? It's very strange.

Edit; also hooked it up to my Blofeld, and the same happens with that.

Seems to be working better now when I turned off "delay compensation" - no idea why that was on in the first place.
