Instrument rack now showing drum rack layout

Post by distaudio » Thu Dec 12, 2013 1:48 am

Have a project I use for a live set where i have an instrument rack that houses instrument racks within instrument racks which now after the upgrade to L9.1 and Push firmware upgrade is now displaying a drum rack layout instead of a standard key layout.

Any idea of how to get it back to its previous state? Is there something I'm missing?

Is there a Drum Rack inside the Instrument Rack? This might cause the issue:

"Step Sequencer mode is now also available for Drum Racks that are nested inside Instrument Racks." (https://www.ableton.com/de/articles/liv ... ase-notes/)

No, there is no drum rack inside the instrument rack.
That is what I though initially might be the issue but there is no drum rack in there.

To rule that one out too: you're not talking about the new melodic step sequencer, right? If this was the issue you would get the key layout back by pressing Note again.

If that isn't the problem I'd send a set with the rack to support...
