Hi Ableton!
Any plans to implement a built in arpeggiator that transmits midi data?
Many midi controllers have this (Impulse, Axiom, MPK Series etc) and I would love to see it as part of Push!
That's all

why for if you have the Arp Midi effect?

Fair question.login wrote:why for if you have the Arp Midi effect?
The ableton arp has a huge delay unless you insert it in another channel, then route the midi.
The swing can only be changed to something less obvious than the set swing (often needed for dance music) if you adjust the global quantise amount, meaning all other groves are affected by it too
You need to set up another midi channel to get the midi data of the arpeggiator on the piano roll

+1 a dedicated Push arpeggiator would be more flexible as you could record something with the arp, then add other notes which would not be affected of the arp. This is not possible today without going back and forth with routing.
I also wish for a chord memory function. Hold a few notes and then be able to play them with one finger.

Which is also present in a lot of the new midi controllers (Arturia range & new Kork Taktile range)interceptor wrote:I also wish for a chord memory function. Hold a few notes and then be able to play them with one finger.
