Push-ArrangeMode - control your arrangement view from Push
Re: Push-ArrangeMode - control your arrangement view from Push
In v2 I'm still having the problem that when I try to select tracks past the first 8 the display doesn't follow, unlike in session view where it moves to the left in order to display track 9 for example. Is there a solution for that? Thanks.

Re: Push-ArrangeMode - control your arrangement view from Push
Hey there,
Sorry for the delayed reply, I was not around the internet.
So, about the selected track "not following", what's happening is that this is related to the Session "red box".
When working in Arrangement the box doesn't automatically folllows in Session. I could find a trick to make it move behind the scene when using Push-Arrangemode but:
- it's only the name of the selected track that doesn't update on Push's screen. The parameters, devices, clips, slos/mute... does follow and act on the selected track correctly.
- I'm not even sure if it's feasible to solve this with the aforementioned solution.
So, I'll have a look at some point but I can't promise anything.
Thanks Miyaru for the kind words.

Peace!
I tried to buy the device right now via gumroad but it seems it's currently unavailable.
Can you let me know if/when you put the device back up? I'd love to give it a try!

No unfortunately. Because I'm too lazy, and too bad at doing videos...
But I did some documentation though:
Here's a visual mapping chart that shows where the actions are assigned on Push (it's Push2 here, but same buttons do the same things on P1), and here's the device's GUI info. There's a written manual too.

I actually read all of them when i was looking for some visualisation of how it works, sadly nobody made a video for it yet. With no returns Policy i just wanted to make sure it Will suit my needs.Valiumdupeuple wrote: ↑Tue Mar 31, 2020 4:21 pmNo unfortunately. Because I'm too lazy, and too bad at doing videos...

Re: Push-ArrangeMode - control your arrangement view from Push
Hi!
Im quite late to the table, having just purchased my first Push 2. But this device is great, thanks a lot for it. Without PAM, I haven't found enough use in the Push so far, to justify the price, personally. But, I'm experiencing ssues with it though. The device works fine while using it, but if I save a project with the device in it, I'm not able to repoen the project. I get some standard error message like "A serious error has occurred", followed by Live shutting down. I'm running the latest version, 10.1.15.
Any tips on this?
Best,
Chris

Also, I'm wondering if it would be possible to have a sort of secondary scrub version, for moving quickly through the timeline?

Hey sorry to hear that, I've never seen this issue nor received any complains about this.chrisfreeq wrote: ↑Fri Jul 24, 2020 8:51 pmI'm experiencing ssues with it though. Are you sure it is caused by PAM? Did you try with an empty set containing only PAM?

@Valiumdupeuple This is such a great device. Will there be any updates for Ableton Live 12 and Push 3?

Also very much interested. Especially P3 standalone mode.
