Prevent Push from losing focus of the instrument?

Is there a way to disable Push auto focus on track selected? If you are controlling an instrument and adjust volume on another track at the same time - that track gets selected and you are screwed if you wanna quickly get back to playing your instrument.

As I found the exact question I was looking an answer for, I might aswell just bump this one up be it as old as it is.

So, is there a way to 'lock' push to a track so that it wouldn't 'focus' on tracks selected in the main application?

This would really be a helpful feature for me also so I'd be intersted in all sort of workarounds too.

Short answer is no, Push is designed to follow what you do on screen so will always lock on to what is in focus
