Encoders in User Mode trigger notes when not supposed to

I'm midi mapping Push encoders in User Mode and it works fine, but while I'm using those encoders later (let's say for volume control) notes are triggered. Basically when I touch encoders they trigger MIDI note which is obviously expected (according to manual) but on the other hand - not something I want at all (all I want is to control volume when turning the knob).

How do I fix it?

I'm sure it's a common issue and probably simple to fix, but I did read the manual (section about User Mode), search through this forum and Google and failed to find an answer.
