Push in combo with other MIDI devices / Kontrol S keyboards?

Just wondering if they work well together, or if the functionality from one interferes with the other in terms of the handling of NI VSTs, or any of the arp/chord/scale functionality?

Is anyone who owns both able to offer an opinion on well how they work together?

Are there any other combos of MIDI device + Push that work especially well (ie. having a MIDI controller with dedicated fader functionality)

Everything will plays pretty well with push, I use an APC40, Push and a novation Remote SL at the same time.

No sure the S-Series keyboards play well with anything except Komplete Kontrol. I think thats NI's plan as well.

Of course that's NI's plan - they want 'Komplete' domination.

I use Push with a Novation Remote SL MKII and it works pretty good.
Push grabs control, though, and this is probably true for other surfaces that do universal controlling like Push and the Remote, so if you want to say have the remote work with Abysnth and Push to jump between drums and an Operator Rack you'll want to right click Lock the Absynth track to the Remote so it doesn't follow Push around doubling up the assignments you're making with Push.

All in all it's pretty dammed cool, Push does all the browsing and Rack patches and the Remote takes care of keyboard patches, and Mackie style control over the mixer.

Oh yeah, and mouse free driving isn't happening, you will want to assign device tracks like Drum Racks to Push input wise, or the Remote, Komplete keyboard will play drum rack sounds when Push is "soft' record enabled to the Drum Rack track.
