Is Push 2 actually available from the Ableton site? There's no shipping estimate other than "Blabla IF in stock usually 1 to 7 days".

I don't want to pay 700 right now and wait 4 months for Push to arrive like last time.

Yes, you can browse 3rd party VSTs now, and you can also define which controls you want on your VSTs shown on the push display, and save that as a default template for each time you load the VST. This is built into Live though, so even none Push owners will be able to use that feature.

Did they mention anything about grouping parameters into custom banks or is it currently restricted to banks of 8, grouped in the order of the parameters?

They have made the updated firmware available for Push 1. Can now browse sample, preview samples and launch VST's. Happy days!

Are there functions from PXT Live in Push 2? That would be great.
From what i just saw, there still no arrangement button....

I'm not familiar enough with PXT to know 100%, but as far as I know no.

From the Ubermap-Thread:
Jesse wrote:Hey I just wanted to chime in here: I looked at the community mappings for the new parameter ordering of Push 2. I owe a huge debt to this community. Of course it is quite different now, because we also have dynamic parameter ordering.

And to follow up: this new parameter ordering (along with access to Simplers's new features) will come to Push 1 very soon in an upcoming beta. Thanks for your patience...

Edit: Also: much respect to Ubermap and Tom_d! Tom I would wait until the upcoming beta to play with this code as we will rearrange some of the code to bring the new parameter ordering to Push 1.

Yikes. This is the thing about hardware. You can't get free upgrades. I am going to investigate that 30% discount

Hmm, what i dont understand is: why should i upgrade from Push1 to Push2, is there something what Push 1 cant do ?

The layout looks similar. Only for the improved LCD ?

It's mostly about sample manipulation me thinks. Similar to Maschine. To some, this might be a big deal. Some other probably don't care.
