Naturally I too would be interested in whether this would be possible.
It's far easier to use that layout for playing than the in key mode/chromatic mode.

Word! I've had so much fun with this. Would love to have this featured on the push 2 when I get my hands on one.

Has anybody figured out how to make the pads sequential (this was possible in Push-1)? In otherwords, I don't want any scale selected in Note Mode...just want the pads to be layed out like a normal piano/drum-machine. In order to play certain Kontakt libraries/instruments, I need to be able to access all the keys in order - otherwise no matter what scale I select I won't get all of the notes needed. I guess what I'm essentially saying is, can I turn off the scales completely for an instrument (that is not an Ableton Drum-Rack) or is there some scale mode that I can use which will play ALL notes sequentially?
Cheers!

Tarekith what about the advanced scale features that akeven was looking for , are they there or were they removed?

Ok thanks, hope they put it back, especially since it's still there with push 1, I hope they don't start doing bad impersonations of native instruments, taking very useful features that are working out of software for no reason is a terrible trend.

Push 1 offered shift while in scales mode to access this (manual pg 545) but this now changes touch-strip function on Push 2 from pitch bend/modulation to octave shift.

I still can't believe they removed this ability with the Push-2. You pay $800 for an instrument that can't even play notes in a sequential way (NO-SCALE). Clearly this function (i.e. advanced scale options) was removed for a reason...just makes no fricken sense to me personally.

They didn't remove it, turn off the Fixed button.
