Re: Will there be a Push Mikro?
While I am not in any way saying this in an official capacity, one of the things I heard a lot from Ableton at Loop was that they only want to make one piece of software, and one piece of hardware.

Re: Will there be a Push Mikro?
really, I think the only thing more exciting than push 2 would be a push 2 mikro that could keep with me in my bag and pull out anywhere and do the same kind of things...it would be a good business move for sure. The push+live combo looks so gratifying and for a mikro push 2 to be class compliant would mean that it could be a wonderful grid controller for other applications and even the iPad. heck something that looked like a novation circuit but very flat/thin and chic like the push 2
Re: Will there be a Push Mikro?
I can't imagine what they would remove to make it smaller myself, you use pretty much everything on there all the time in my experience.

Re: Will there be a Push Mikro?
I guess I don't mean so much as remove as I mean shrink but yeah I'd still want to be able to use every aspect too. I'm probably going to buy push 2 today and instead of 800 smackaroos I'd be willing to spend 1200 if I could also buy a mini push shrunk down to the size of a circuit for use when I'm out and about...... or those times you are working on music somewhere and you think to yourself 'I wish I had my push here'
cause I know my push 2 will not be leaving my house for any reason.

Watching the Loop event they definitely stated one piece of hardware/software only...

Re: Will there be a Push Mikro?
I'd like to see the equivalent of a Launchpad Pro, but oriented toward live performance and emphasizing note mode as well as clip launch mode, with "key"/scales implemented and selection visible in a small lcd screen, with minimal editing capability as a complement to Push.
(One would edit background tracks on Push, and play synths in performance using "Inkey" or chromatic, with perhaps a button to switch between harmonic and natural minor (relative major, modes), so one could get dominant 7ths easily...
IMO,YMMV

Re: Will there be a Push Mikro?
There are a lot of small portable pad options for "on the go stuff"
We don't need ableton to make another one.
