Ableton Push 2 teardown

Post by molefonken » Mon Nov 23, 2015 7:30 pm

I just found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YItWQdJgXLs

Let's look what's inside the push 2.

All the signatures on the inside of the case is a nice touch. It shows a bunch of people who are proud of a thing they made together, rather than a corporation grinding out product. It's nice to see these touches.

also, if you compare it to the push 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gYGI1jYePqc

you will see that ableton has done a good job in terms of quality

ohh, that push 1 teardown will probably upset owners of the push 1.. doesn't look pretty at all in comparison

Well, that pretty much confirms what I suspected all along. Push2 is alien technology brought to earth by benevolent beings who appreciate quality.

Thank you Markus Fuller and thank you Ableton! :D

I love a good teardown simply because I like to know how things work and was quite happy to see the signatures of the employees in there. Something that says this is something I am proud to put my name to.

Really is a good design and a vision that I am sure they are very happy to see work and accepted. Look forward to the refinements, stability and enhancements in the coming months.

The signatures put a little glow to my eyes. Thanks Ableton family for your hardwork. I've been practicing my music at least 3 times a week now.
