What if I dont want to update Push Firmware?

Hey Ableton
I'm happy with 9.1.6
I'm happy with Push 1 firmware being as is.
How many time is the program gonna propt me to update the firmware?
I said no thanks already..........

If you do not update your push the Ableton Secret Guard will kick in your door and force you to update, it really is a life or death situation..
Seriously though, I was under the impression that the updates were a good thing, I am curious why you do not want to update? Is there something about the next version you are opposed to?
just curious of your reasoning, for an informative sake.

The firmware update fixes a problem Stephen in Barcelona was having. Trust me, you don’t want to experience Stephen’s problem.

I've loaded 9.1.6 - 4 times now - turned off auto updates and it's still updating!
How? Why?
I'm super pissed at this!

It's probably a bug that the next update will fix.
