Yes, so very worth it!

Without knowing more about why you want to upgrade, I can't suggest anything specific. So I'll just say yes, it's worth it.

No it doesn't.Theo Void wrote:Title says it all
Find out what features in Push 2 you feel you need. If you can try the Push 2 side by side with your 1. Then decide.
I decided I don't need Push 2 right now, but I might get it later.

You all are right. I've pretty much decided already that I'm getting it. I have OG PUSH and Maschine Studio. The Maschine is nearly perfect but as we all know, the arrangement capabilities are lacking. The Live/Maschine work-flow has never been great for me either. I just run both stand alone then I basically browse and "Write" in Maschine then mix, process and arrange in Live.
I've always wanted to love Push and I've never given up on it but if I'm being honest I never really clicked with it. It's so close to being great !!!!
So, my hope was get some impressions from you guys and girls on how it's all working out for ya.

I'd say that looks promising for the Push 2 and you then.Theo Void wrote:

Funny story, I was in a DJ/Music shop discussing the merits of Maschine Studio vs Push 1, touching on some yet to exist features. The following week Push 2 was released, with some of those features we had discussed implemented.

just remember that for the first 90 days or so Push 2 will tell you what she thinks you want to hear. after that... and after you fall in love... you may find out the truth. don't believe anything she says about what she'll do for you until after you see her doing it.

You're so romantic H2, I can't understand why you seems so embittered about women!

maybe it's because you've got me mixed up with someone else.
but feel free to replace the she/her with he/him if it makes you feel better...
point still is; you don't know what you're getting into until well after you take the plunge.

I can't comment on machine but I took the plunge on push 2 and it's true after a while there is still a bunch of stuff I wish I could do but it is still way better than push 1

I would wait and see how and if Ableton is able to fix the current velocity issues with the Pads of Push 2, before taking the plunge.
But that's me. As I now really wish I waited a little longer before buying mine.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Push 2, but the issues with the pads is a serious enough blow to my enjoyment, forcing me to use an external keyboard at times.
