"No Clip" reads on Push 2 Display when pressing Clip button?

"No Clip" reads on Push 2 Display when pressing Clip button?

I constantly use the “Clip” button on the Push to crop the length of my clip loop. However sometimes the Push screen says “No Clip” and it won’t let me edit the parameters. This is while I am on the correct track with the clip selected and playing.
Does anyone know why this happens?

Hold Select and press on your clip's pad.
