push 2 double hits

Post by mrboni » Sat Apr 16, 2016 10:09 am

I frequently get double hits when playing pads on the push.

Do other people have this problem?

I can't tell if it's my technique, a faulty unit, or if that's what the push 2 is like!

Have you tried adjusting the sensitivity at all in the Set Up menu?

Yes I've tried, including the lowest settings.

Do you never have this problem?

This is not how Push is supposed to react.
So it's either your playing style or your sensitivity settings.
Does it happen in drum rack mode, melodic mode, or both?

This happens to me sometimes. You might be double tapping the pad without realizing it. If you leave your fingers kind of loose, you can tap the pad, then the hard rubber bounces your finger off just slightly and it lands back on the pad. See if it helps at all to be mindful of this and either deliberately rest your finger on the pad or pull it away after playing the note.
